Oslo District Court on June 15 found the 29-year-old guilty of two rapes and other offences, issuing a four-year sentence and a two-year restraining order related to one victim. Høiby attended the verdict by video; prosecutors had sought seven years and seven months while his defense asked for 18 months. The court ordered compensation to Nora Haukland and three other women; he was acquitted of two other rape charges.
Høiby originally faced numerous counts: reports say he was charged with 32 counts on Aug. 18, 2025, and in total confronted 38 accusations, including filming people without consent, sexually offensive conduct, assault, violating a restraining order, and separate drug and driving offenses. His six-week trial concluded months before the verdict.
